Use License

Children under Age 13

Grand Island Chamber of Commerce does not knowingly collect any information from children under age thirteen. If a child under age thirteen sends us an email with a question or comment, and we are aware of the child’s age, we will write back using that email address but we will not keep the email address or use it again.

The Grand Island Chamber of Commerce Community

The Grand Island Chamber of Commerce Community is a private member Site and users must create a profile account for access.

Community Profile Information

Grand Island Chamber of Commerce Community users may choose to provide personally identifiable information, e.g., company, name and address, as well as non-personally identifiable information, e.g., hometown, age, type of business. Information in a member’s profile is provided at his or her sole discretion. Grand Island Chamber of Commerce members can control the visibility and information of their profiles by choosing the tab My Profile and submitting changes on the sidebar option Update Profile. These privacy settings are designed to enable users to control how they share and receive their information. While Grand Island Chamber of Commerce takes steps to ensure that Community members use Profile information in a manner consistent with a member’s privacy setting, we cannot guarantee that users will follow these rules, or that any profile visibility steps cannot be circumvented. Therefore, consider this and your privacy settings whenever you provide or share information.

Community Online Discussion Boards

This Site includes online Discussion Boards (forums) and optional social media that users may engage. Users have access to control the level of privacy for each and every post. Online discussions and blog comments are public information. Your discretion is advised.

Grand Island Chamber of Commerce cannot assure the accuracy, efficacy or authenticity of content generated by its users, many of whom are anonymous or have user pen names and with whom Grand Island Chamber of Commerce does not have an official relationship. Grand Island Chamber of Commerce assumes no liability for the outcome of user-to-user communications, dealings, meetings, or other interactions. Community content is posted directly upon submission. Monitoring will be provided to the extent possible by Grand Island Chamber of Commerce representatives. Terms of Use Behavior

Grand Island Chamber of Commerce Community members are asked to use the common sense courtesy when engaging on the website. Any disregard of the following may be considered a breach of Terms of Use and reason for removal from the site:

  • Do not disrespect the privacy and views of others. Seek to be supportive and helpful;

  • Do not use the Community Forums for commercial purposes, including the promotion of any specific goods or services;

  • Do not post obscene, profane, sexually explicit, libelous, slanderous, defamatory, harmful, threatening, illegal or knowingly false information;

  • Do not post blatant expressions of bigotry, racism or hate, material encouraging conduct that may constitute or contribute to a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability or violate any national, state or local law, regulation or authority, or any other material which Grand Island Chamber of Commerce finds objectionable;

  • Do not post any instructional information or messages encouraging or promoting harm to oneself or others or facilitating illegal conduct;

  • Do not use the Community Discussions for unlawful purposes;

  • Do not impersonate another person including, without limitation, a Grand Island Chamber of Commerce representative or agent, another Community member;

  • Do not allow any other person or entity to use your identification to post or view comments; and

  • Do not post material that infringes on the copyright or other intellectual property rights of others or the privacy and publicity rights of others;

  • Do not circumvent or modify or assist any other person in circumventing or modifying any website security technology or software.

Our servers are located in the United States. If you are located outside of the United States, please be aware that any information you provide to us will be transferred to the United States. Shipping Policy

Grand Island Chamber of Commerce direct ships using United Parcel Service (UPS), FedEx and United States Postal Service Office (USPS) as its primary shippers.

Shipping charges are disclosed during the checkout process and may include a nominal handling fee on some items. High volume holidays and inclement winter weather may affect shipping time.

Grand Island Chamber of Commerce shall not be responsible for any losses or damages sustained by the buyer or any other person as a result of use or improper use of products offered on the Site.

Return/Refund Policy:

All sales are final. However, if your products have been damaged in shipment or in production the item will be replaced or purchase refunded.

All damage and shortage claims should be made within 5 days of delivery. If damaged upon arrival you have the right to refuse the order. Call to report damages and obtain a return authorization number.

A copy of the packing slip or the customer receipt must accompany all returns.

A refund will be issued to the original credit card within 1 -2 billing cycles.

You may be requested to return the damaged item for refund.

Online products and services are non-refundable. Your satisfaction is important. Please contact us if you have questions regarding your online programs and services.

Online Payment Security

Grand Island Chamber of Commerce partners with PayPal for payment of products and services. The customer is provided the option to pay via PayPal account or using a major credit card.
