Call for Nominations

COY

Each year the Grand Island Chamber of Commerce looks for businesses, organizations, teachers, individuals or someone who has gone the extra mile and has taken the extra step above and beyond their day to day responsibilities and jobs in the Grand Island Community. These are the people who have made Grand Island a better place to Live, Work and Play. We all know someone who fits this bill and now is you chance to give them the thanks that they deserve!

The Chamber is now accepting nominations for the 50th Citizen of the Year Celebration. The deadline for this years nomination is March 1, 2016.

  1. Dana”s Styling Pets
Dana has always been very professional as well as concerned towards my 3 dogs. Her ability to deal with every walk of life here on Grand Island has been expertly handled.I have been a resident since 1965 and dealt with many dog groomers ,for my pets.As well as being knowledgable about her trade everyone is treated by the utmost respect.I consider her business approach is awesome as well as being a very likeable person.By no means am I forgetting her staff they all emulate Dana .I feel she should be awarded Cititzen of the year.
